The Air Jordan 5 was released in 1990, and once again designed by Mr. Hatfield. Of course Hatfield still came up with a original design for the new Air Jordans. Some elements were the same from the Air Jordan 4, but the Air Jordans 5's most distinctive feature is arguably its reflective tongue. Also there were lacelocks on the Air Jordans 5 which made it easy to strap them on. The soles gave Air Jordans 5 a whole new and unique look. The Air Jordans 5 is considered to have the best structure and design to wear when you are playing basketball. The Air Jordan 5 was retroed in 2000 and several re-retro Air Jordans 5s were released in 2006.
